Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Case Room ("the Service"), operated by The Case Room LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Case Room is an AI-powered case interview practice platform that provides simulated case interviews, skill drills, scoring, feedback, and training content. The Service is designed for educational purposes to help users prepare for consulting interviews.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the full features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

You may not share your account with others or allow multiple people to use a single account. Each subscription pass is for individual use only.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free: One full AI case interview at no cost, with the full coaching experience. No credit card required.

Sprint (monthly subscription): A recurring monthly plan that unlocks a set number of new cases each billing month. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access through the end of the current billing period.

Season (term pass): A one-time payment granting access to a set number of new cases over a fixed period (currently three months). It does not auto-renew.

Single-case unlock: A one-time payment that unlocks one additional case when you are over your plan's allowance.

Re-attempting a case you have already unlocked (a "redo") does not count against your allowance. Except where required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including the current period of a subscription after cancellation, Season passes, and single-case unlocks.

1:1 Coaching: One-on-one coaching with our team is sold separately and is not included in any platform subscription. Coaching is booked and paid through our scheduling provider, subject to availability, and is non-transferable.

Prices are subject to change. Any price change will not affect a Season pass or billing period you have already paid for.

5. AI-Generated Content

The case interviews, feedback, scoring, and drill evaluations provided by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. While we calibrate our AI to reflect real consulting interview standards based on actual MBB interview experience:

• AI feedback is not a guarantee of interview performance or outcomes
• Scores and evaluations are approximations and may not perfectly reflect how a human interviewer would score you
• The Service is a preparation tool, not a predictor of interview results

We make no guarantees about employment outcomes from using the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, reproduce, or distribute the case content, training videos, or drill questions outside the platform
• Use the Service to develop a competing product
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the AI prompts, case data, or scoring algorithms
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service
• Share your account credentials or subscription pass with others
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

7. Intellectual Property

All case content, training materials, drill questions, scoring methodologies, and platform design are the intellectual property of The Case Room LLC. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own interview preparation.

You retain ownership of your session transcripts and personal notes. By using the Service, you grant The Case Room LLC a license to store and use your session transcripts, responses, scores, and notes to operate the Service and to calibrate and improve our interview and scoring methodology, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may also use de-identified and aggregated data to improve the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Case Room LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to interview outcomes, lost opportunities, or reliance on AI-generated feedback.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to paid features will end, but we will retain your data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations.

10. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
